WHAT TO EXPECT

BEFORE YOU ARRIVE

Bible Preaching

At BBC, we care not only about what takes place during our church services, but also about each member’s life throughout the week. The Christian life was never meant to be lived alone, and spiritual growth happens through both the gathered worship of the church and meaningful relationships with one another. For that reason, our ministries take place both inside the church and beyond its doors. Some provide teaching, worship, and encouragement within the church, while others meet in smaller, focused settings that allow for personal connection and support through the different seasons and circumstances of life.Through these ministries, we aim to strengthen faith, cultivate genuine fellowship, and help every person feel known, cared for, and welcomed as part of the church family.

Traditional Not Trendy

Our worship services are reverent and orderly, emphasizing congregational singing, prayer, and the preaching of God’s Word. Rather than following modern trends, we seek to keep the focus on worship that is thoughtful and Christ-centered. We believe there are many ways to express worship, but the best way is in reverence. During the service we sing hymns and songs together, spend time in prayer, and hear a message from the Bible.

Friendly Fellowship

We desire our church to feel like a church family. You will be greeted warmly, but you will never be put on the spot or made uncomfortable. Many of our members enjoy spending time talking before and after the services, and guests are always welcome to join in as much or as little as they feel comfortable.

No Expectations

We understand visiting a new church can feel intimidating. You will not be asked to stand, introduce yourself publicly, or give any money. We simply want you to come, observe, and worship with us at your own pace. Our hope is that you feel welcomed and encouraged, not pressured.

What To Wear

Some attend in a suit and tie while others dress more casually. You do not need to worry about fitting a dress code — you are welcome to come as you are, and you will not feel out of place.

Service Time & Length

Our Sunday School classes last about one hour, and our morning worship service runs a little over an hour. You are welcome to attend either one separately or both together — whichever you prefer.
